I can’t deny-I was smitten with the idea of capturing the birth of Ryan & Chintana’s 4th child. I was worried about being out of town the weekend before her induction because I was afraid she might go at any time. I am so glad little Blakely held on for me. Chintana embodied a strong, calm mother, bringing Blakely into the world with a smile and a fabulous delivery by Dr. Jennifer Esses. The second I saw her I knew she looked like her little sister, Emarie (her newborn images HERE). Tons of beautiful black hair and a hearty cry that we all yearn to here the second we give birth. It was spiritual, emotional, and amazing. They didn’t know the baby’s sex – I don’t know how she was that patient but she said her mind was occupied by her other 3, the youngest of which just turned 1. Her oldest is the only boy and, boy, was Dalton hoping for a brother. As you can see from the look on his face, he did not get his wish but I have no doubt he will be the best big brother to Blakely Drew as he has been to his other little sisters.
