Remember this goes on throughout the month of November with the auction being the last weekend in November so come on out! In conjunction with the Rosemary Beach Foundation and the Children’s Volunteer Health Network, kansas pitts photography is teaming up to help out with Cottages for Kids. Cottages for Kids is CVHN’s main fundraiser for the year and is incredible! I took photographs for a story we are working on for the Thanksgiving issue of the Walton Sun of a family that CVHN has helped and, while they were out there they got help the Heartworks Kids paint the Plato’s Playhouse. This is an amazing fundraiser where builders and other sponsors construct amazing playhouses which are auctioned off at the end of November. As more details become available I will post however keep your calendars open for Veterans Day weekend so you can come out to Rosemary Beach and check these amazing playhouses out. Come join us Saturday, October 25th and Sunday, October 24th from 10-3 for the Annual World’s Greatest Pumpkin Patch to benefit the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center at Owl’s Head Farm in Freeport, Florida.

Kansas Pitts Photography will be taking pictures with families and kids in front of the huge pumpkin for a donation of $10.00 to the Children’s Advocacy Center. For $10.00 you get the piece of mind that you are giving a little to help our area’s children and you will receive a fine touched professional photograph of you and your children or just your children to remember this fall season forever!

In addition, the Owl’s Head Pumpkin Patch has bargain prices on beautiful pumpkins-$8.00 for large ones, $6.00 for medium ones, and $4.00 for small ones-make it a family tradition-everyone in the family grabs a pumpkin, takes it home and carves it by a little fire and some hot chocolate to display in your front yard!

They also have a midwestern tradition-a corn box! For those of you who aren’t familiar with them it is a huge sandbox filled with corn and coins for the kids to find-it is truly a blast! They also have a jump house to play in and refreshments - popcorn, hotdogs, drinks, etc.! Also for a chance to win $250 you can guess the weight of the giant pumpkin for a small donation!
