First let me tell you a little story about Annabelle-she got her middle name because she made to birth & is happy and healthy despite the odds. At 12 weeks pregnant her mother’s appendix burst and had to be removed. We all know that first trimester is the most tumultuous and things can happen but Annabelle pulled through and is perfect in every way. She was not even 5 days old in these…

The downpour that started on Friday did not damper the vows of Shane & Hillary this past weekend! And amazingly, it cleared just as the reception began. It was a sweet wedding and the bride & groom are the most amazingly nice people to work with. The bride’s family was huge!! I think I’ll post a picture because you may not quite understand…

The bride had her grandmother’s mirror to get ready and wanted to capture that special memento.

Just Married & Now they can relax…

I told you she had a large family…

Her daddy made her cry…sweet, happy tears!

South Walton had a large wildfire today and I took some photographs from my father’s fourth floor & sent them over to wmbb and they used them for their 5 & 6 o’clock news as well as placed them on their website!

I met up with the Crow family this morning at Watercolor to do family portraits. It was cold this morning-haha well cold for Florida in May-62 degrees and windy but the girls were so great and cooperative.

Watercolor has a really cute Boathouse we went down to…the Crow’s are on the bridge down there & its so windy!

Then mom and dad posed for a few…

The Beachcomber Magazine http://www.thebeachcomber.org/index.html) featured one of my photographs on their cover this month and a little article about my photography so pick one up! It is full of great local information.

They were so photogenic-we only took a few & they all turned out really great!

The Lawler Family

Natalie called me to set a session as a Mother’s Day Present for her mother the Monday after Mother’s Day. She was coming from Atlanta and her mother and siblings, from Nashville. What a beautiful & fun family! We took advantage of the pool area, a few sailboats on the beach, and of course the beautiful beach.

I think we covered everything!

Well this past weekend wrapped up our Mother’s Day Mini

Shoots for the year! More beautiful families helping create beautiful memories!

Thanks guys…as many of you have requested let’s make it an annual event ;-)

Well the verdict is in & the mothers loved their photographs! So much that they shared them with friends & family and now I have added another shoot to accommodate the requests! The new date is Saturday May 9th (the day before Mother’s Day) so email me to sign up at kansasleah@yahoo.com.
