Finally getting around to blogging and introducing this gorgeous newborn baby girl that I photographed in my Santa Rosa Beach studio. I had a whirlwind last minute planning and changing (due to Hurricane Nate’s weather on the Emerald Coast) for my portrait workshop at the beach this past week where we redid a Vintage 1976 Scotty for the styled session in the beach workshop (it was kindof epic…after you check out Baby Carmen you may want to check it out HERE and if you are interested in future workshops you can check the 2018 dates HERE).
Rachel was so sweet and over the moon about her little Carmen when she brought her in. Miss Carmen Izabella ws an even 7 pounds and an even 20 inches long when Dr. Graham delivered her at Sacred Heart on the Emerald Coast’s Family Birth Place (where I delivered three of my babies-they have the best stir fry there-I mean who can say no to a birth center where you order off a menu?!). Speaking of Dr. Graham, next time you are in her new office off Mack Bayou you will see a lot of gorgeous metals that I hung a few weeks ago when they opened. I think little Carmen belongs on those walls now! Her mom described her nursery in pinks and golds and loved gardens so I tried to theme the newborn session in florals and those gorgeous colors (y’all know I love gold and pink & gold together-gah!).
