When a fellow photographer comes to you and asks you to do images for them, regardless of what kind, it is both an honor as well as a scary thing. Hehe. Amanda Susanne is an amazing wedding photographer who also happens to be one of my neighbors AND our girls (Presley Grace & Chloe) go to preschool together. Amanda had her second baby, Baby Everett, 5 weeks ago and she took some awesome pictures of him – all smiles. She mentioned to me a few weeks ago that she should’ve had me take some (or maybe she commented on facebook) but I thought she was being nice. At Presley Grace’s birthday party she said something else and so I offered! Had I known she was serious to begin with I would’ve jumped at the opportunity-I love photographing babies!
We had to cancel it Tuesday because it was pitch black in my natural light studio because of a ridiculous storm and today it stormed again but there was enough light so I jumped at the chance! I was a bit worried that Everett was 5 weeks old but he rocked it! He wasn’t a big fan of the bean bag and posing on it because he isn’t as moldable as a newborn so I changed game plans and he loved everything else 😉
I had some other things planned but Everett decided he was done with the sleeping 😉
