A sweet baby girl and her mama’s vintage CJ 7 Jeep…definitely an afternoon I was happy to have taken advantage of. I don’t know if other photographers are like this (and admittedly I had gotten out of that habit with all life’s chaos) but if I am somewhere I can’t fully see and even capture an incredible sunset it almost gives me anxiety…I just want to be shooting something spectacular when I see that sweet light peek through dramatic clouds, especially when it includes sugar white sand and a sea of turquoise underneath it 💕
The other day (in January no less!) I could feel it in may bones that it was going to be gorgeous but it was late and I didn’t have anything ready and I was solo BUT I got Fallon ready and in the jeep in record time and got down to the beach 12 minutes before the actual sunset and I AM SO GLAD I DID!!!! She and I have been doing lots of afternoon beach pictures but these are my favorite series so are. So Fallon has been a busy little bee but honestly these little “minis” only take 10-15 minutes because she is an incredibly happy baby most of the time. Although she does have like 30 teeth coming in right now so late afternoons haven’t been our friend, she LOVES the beach! Lucky for us it was only about 70 degrees and breathtaking for our impromptu sunset beach ride Tuesday afternoon.
