my family | 2011 | watercolor family portraits

So it is usually an epic fail when I try to do family pictures but this year I enlisted a friend of mine from high school who is a hobbyist and loves getting her hands on a camera to do the shots of all 5 of us. I knew the perfect spot (literally within inches), I got all our outfits together, and I set Alison (click her name to visit her family blog-she will crack you up) up. She and I went over some images that I liked and I showed her this and that and what I liked and she shot away! We finally released her and then Jon & I got our hands on the camera and even Olivia got to take a few ?

Olivia took this one sitting on the trampoline behind our house-we are currently hydroseeding our yard so it’s a bit pitiful ? haha
