Miranda and her family are locals so what better place to get the annual family beach pictures taken than a true locals favorite, Grayton Beach! Admittedly in the winter in Northwest Florida the weather can vary from literally the low 80’s to below freezing! The day we chose was supposed to be around 65 degrees but that wind was a bit chilly for the girls. They handled it like champs, though, and warmed up when we got moving! This was sunrise beach session which tends to lend itself more towards pastels but this morning was a little cloudy too so we got this yummy, diffused light and all these pinks and purples in the sky. I loved how all their outfits were different colors but completely complimentary. I get asked a lot, what should we wear for our beach pictures…I always love color! The beach produces such gorgeous colors at sunrise and sunset and you never know if you will get a deep orange glow for your session or a completely pastel sky so wear what you feel great in; what looks good on you…I have never seen a bad wardrobe choice (from my clients) for beach pictures.
