In case you guys didn’t notice I took a little while off of my in-person teaching when Baby Hudson was born…well “Baby” Hudson turned 3 this summer so I had my first workshop back this past weekend and it was AWESOME! Seriously I had gotten so many emails asking about a workshop and it was overwhelming to get back into it after taking so much time away from it but it’s like riding a bike right? Truth is I LOVE TEACHING – its the deciding the what and hows that make me procrastinate (vulnerable moment here) because I want to do it all, teach it all, and make sure that each one of you gets the most out of it that you can, something that transforms both your images and your business and, honestly, not to be melodramatic but…..your life. You can have a successful, profitable business and create gorgeous images for both your clients and feed your soul and have an amazing family…I want to be a part in building that.
We even had a hurricane to contend with but we moved things around based on everyone’s schedule, got it all done and got all the girls on their planes in time! One of the things we had to do was move the styled shoot out to Friday afternoon before our Welcome Dinner (instead of ending the Saturday workshop with it) and it turned out amazing. We had a variety of “models” (I use that loosely of course, I like the natural models 🙂 and an amazing beach, an amazing sunset, and well, just look at it!

So we are going back to original Beach Retreat for these because I want to form relationships not just teach…a Friday night Welcome Dinner so we can really get to know one another and talk shop. This is one of my favorite things-not only can you gain perspective from me but from the other photographers there as well. Then Saturday will begin the “real deal” – full on everything we can cram in! I will have a full schedule ahead of each but just to give you an idea here is what I have in mind they go something like this…
(Be advised plan to be in town by 4 pm on Friday in case we need to move anything up from Saturday like we had to do for weather this past weekend and plan to be wrapped up from sunrise to sunset on Saturday although that could change if we decide to move anything to Friday due to the weather as mentioned.)
