My daughter had a district softball tournament in Paxton (about an hour north of South Walton) last Friday afternoon and on the way home, on the side of the highway in Freeport I saw this starting…
And so I did what any photographer with kids does, I asked my husband to pull over. Olivia looked at me a little funny when I told her to put the dress on over her leggings and leave her cleats on because there were sandspurs in the grass. But she did it-she brushed her hair and I tied a piece of lace ribbon around her head, tied up the adult (i.e. too big) dress on her and out we went. When I say we did in these in a matter of moments, I mean I took the first picture at 6:23 and the last at 6:29. We hopped back in the car and were on our way 😉 The interesting thing about the short time period are the amount of different looks we got literally with her standing in the exact same spot for just 6 minted-it was gorgeous and it was totally worth the stop. My hubby and my daughter rock for indulging me like this every now and then!
By the time we got to the bay the sun was almost down-I kindof wanted to pull over again but I resisted my urge and just took this one from my window (bottom left you can see my mirror ;-).
