on the way to grandmother’s house | a little red riding hood story

Saturday afternoon after we picked blackberries on the side of the road I noticed the light was pretty and I knew we had an open afternoon ahead to do with whatever we pleased. I turned to my hubby and said, I have an idea I have been wanting to try out with Presley 😉 He, as he usually does, obliged and pitched in to take her down the road to a little spot that I wanted to photograph her in. My neighbor, Gina, had a vintage red mason jar that was absolutely perfection for this and I had gotten the outfit on clearance after Halloween. So off to the location down the road…I had noticed the light in the fall, when the sun was setting a certain way, but when we got there it was in another direction since we are in the Spring now. At first I was a little let down but then I just explored until I found the light I wanted-it wasn’t exactly how I pictured but I am thrilled with the outcome. Presley Grace loves to dress up and when I showed her and the kids the final (first on the blog post below) image their mouths dropped-Presley could not understand how there was a wolf behind her 😉 Kids are so cute. I hope you enjoy our little red riding hood themed session as much I enjoyed putting it together!
