My mother, girls, and I just got back from NYC (my mom and I go every year in December) for Presley’s first trip to the city! I had to take along my camera and although it looks like I took a ton of pictures I really didn’t have it out much or even with us much, but when I did….well I am in love with all of these. From the ones at DUMBO with that gorgeous Brooklyn Bridge in the background to the snow and the city lights and balcony….well you will see…
My mother is not fond of elevators which led us to a gorgeous staircase with dramatic lighting (with a little help from a cell phone light) so when we got back I HAD to get Olivia to grab a few…Its amazing where you can find inspiration…a dark staircase was perfect with that dress.
We were supposed to come back on Friday but Atlanta had another plan….a lot of snow across the southeast (which I am disappointed that I missed!) kept us in NYC for another night. Instead of staying in the same area we usually do we decided to go back over to Brooklyn and get a view of the skyline…The William C. Vale’s Gotham Suite was perfect for that! From the clear city night skyline of NYC to waking up to a snowy winter…
The girls were a little excited if you can’t tell….we also had to capture a few snowy pictures in their dresses before we left for the airport hoping we might the able to fly home even in this white out (we did by the way…apparently NYC is a little more prepared for snowfall than ATL)!
Some other fun ones….we had to do the touristy things since it was Presley’s first trip to NYC!

Ice Skating in Rockefeller Center was a must (along with Mariah Carey’s Christmas concert and the Rockette’s Christmas Spectacular!)
