the watson family at grayton beach | september 2011

Karla booked her shoot forever ago after seeing a friend of her’s images, The Jones Family. They had a beautiful 14 month old daughter, Ayla, and she and Jake had gotten married 4 years before on Grayton Beach (they are from Birmingham). They always stay in the same home in Grayton-the Turtle House/Eddyland (the pictures don’t do it justice) and she wanted to get a few there because there is an awesome boat bar (haha you will see).

Let me warn you: this will not be a short post. Karla and Jake have a gorgeous family, they were super sweet and so in love with their daughter, Ayla, and they really got an amazing afternoon. I can’t NOT share these-it would be criminal;-)I can’t get enough of them!

So I have to start with one of my favorites!

And then on to the beginning…The Turtle House in Grayton Beach

Okay one more boat bar picture…hehe

On to the beach and what a day it was;-)

Thanks Jenny-I know! That remains one of my favorite all time images-it was literally one of the first ones I ever took with my first camera-but how could I have gone wrong with Molly as my model!
