Winterberry | A Warm Winter Petite Session

I had gotten this Winterberry bonnet in from Whippoorwill Nest after Christmas and I don’t have any newborns scheduled for a while so I asked Presley if she wanted to get outside and take a few pictures. And also Trae from Devoted Knits gave me some darling newborn tiebacks and a rabbit fur so I had to use those too! Newborn stuff does not just have to be used for newborns – I use them all the time for all ages!

Mama needed some inspiration, some soul. Her dress is from Mia Belle Baby but is a 2T so I took a tea length tulle skirt of mine and put it on over that and clipped it in the back. I also used my new Ice Light mostly as a hair light and to help her stand out a little more from the background. Then later you can see I used it strong just for some drama. I love love how these turned out!
