These days I am offering very limited workshops because well…I have a lot of kids and they have a lot going on too and part of why I do what I do (aside from the fact that I love it!) is so I can be there for as much as possible! But…Seriously I have gotten so many emails asking about a workshop up North a little for those girls who didn’t want/couldn’t travel and also so that we are capturing your area (or a representative of it) when we photograph the workshop models. I have been procrastinating getting something for you northern gals ready but…Truth is I LOVE TEACHING – its the deciding the what and hows that make me procrastinate (vulnerable moment here) because I want to do it all, teach it all, and make sure that each one of you gets the most out of it that you can, something that transforms both your images and your business and, honestly, not to be melodramatic but…..your life. You can have a successful, profitable business and create gorgeous images for both your clients and feed your soul and have an amazing family…I want to be a part in building that. So I am coming to MICHIGAN!

This workshop will focus on Maternity & Family Imagery but honestly the same principles I teach for those items can be translated for any type of photography.

So we are going to do the original Beach Retreat for this because I want to form relationships not just teach…a Friday night Welcome Dinner so we can really get to know one another and talk shop. This is one of my favorite things-not only can you gain perspective from me but from the other photographers there as well. Then Saturday will begin the “real deal” – full on everything we can cram in! I have a full schedule but just to give you an idea here is what I have in mind it’ll go something like this…

Friday Night: Welcome Dinner (optional)

Saturday: Post-Sunrise Magical Forest Maternity Session (with “THE” wings and some without) Backlit

Morning Lifestyle Family Session in Open Shade

Back to the Studio for editing (using those sessions as well as generalizing to other editing)

Lunch (Shop Talk/Working Lunch)

Business, Marketing, SEO, Website Stuff, IPS model vs. online galleries, etc.

Sunset Family Session Lakeside/Open Sky

Sunday: Because the sunrise and sunset times that time of year allow us a ton of daylight Saturday this is optional for you to attend but I would like to do a wrap up session with Q & A that

you have thought of overnight as well as edit a few of the Sunset Lakeside Session Images. I can also video this and place it in the group if you can’t make this part of the workshop-

consider it a little bonus morning.
